This workshop will outline the evolution of oral fluid testing from what is practiced today, to what can be expected in the future. The development of oral fluid testing, both in the US and in Europe, will be examined with an emphasis on how laboratories are approaching oral fluid testing as well as the type of companies and agencies who are adopting oral fluid testing and why.
Future trends in oral fluid testing, specifically regarding the use of automated immunoassays on random access analyzers will also be discussed. Time will be set aside at the end of the program for discussion.
